Here’s another commercial shoot that I’m pretty darn proud of. The Lionsgate team (at the day job) needed some promotional shots for giveaways they planned to run online in support of the Blu-ray and DVD release of Thor: Tales of Asgard, so I decided to shoot them spotlit on all black. The size and the amount of items made this shoot really tough without using a huge black drape, I had to DIY it a little. I think they came out nice though. I hope you guys dig them.

I’ve always been a big iPhone shooter (just ask my wife how annoying it is that I’m always taking pictures with my phone) but lately I’ve been shooting a lot with the Instagram app. It’s fun and has been a lot more useful since they installed a tilt-shift filter in the past update. My only complaint is that the application doesn’t allow you to save full resolution photos like Hipstamatic does. Oh well. Nevertheless, here are some of my favorites from the past month or so. The first set is all pictures of The Wiggle Bear!

I’m incredibly proud of these shots. The Universal team (at the day job) needed some promotional shots for giveaways they planned to run online in support of the Blu-ray and DVD release of Get Him to the Greek, so I decided to shoot them spotlit on all black. I wanted to go for that “rocker” look (and I took it even further with some backlighting which I’ll show in a few days when I post the outtakes), and used an extremely DIY lighting setup (which I’ll also show when I post the outtakes). I hope you guys dig them.

It’s been insanely windy here in Central NJ the past few days. Word is that some flights into the state were even delayed at one point.

Before I got the bursitis in my knees, I’d been taking a lot of walks to try to get myself back into shape. It’s going to be a long haul, but I’m determined to do it this time.

Nevertheless, a few days during my walks I decided to take my camera out with me so expect to see some posts here and there of things I’ve shot along the way. Here’s the first. I dig it. How about you?

It’s hard to explain just how much Skylar loves Yo Gabba Gabba. She perks up and runs right up to the TV every single time she hears the first notes of the theme song. It’s adorable.

She received this Dancing Brobee doll for Christmas and, though the batteries have died and I need to replace them, she still plays with this thing. She hugs it, and kisses it, and laughs every time she sees it.
