Every year, my good buddy Justin and I go to the same place for a week in the summer. No, we don’t go together. We’d both been going separately for years with our respective families. So, after we became friends, it was pretty cool to find out that we both head down to Stone Harbor, NJ for vacation every year. This year, he beat me down there by 2 weeks (I’m heading down this Saturday). Jealous as I am that he already had fun down there, I had to share this amazing video he made from the trip. Shot by Justin (all on his 5D Mark II) and edited by his girlfriend Genevieve, this is one of the most awesome 5D Mark II videos I’ve seen yet. Enjoy!
This is one of those lucky shots that just sort of happen. Taken during Frank & Margo’s wedding this past weekend, this is pretty much straight out of camera. Pretty cool.
I know there are a bunch of authors that read this blog, and you guys (and gals) may have seen a few of my publicity animations on Lauren Barnholdt‘s LJ before, but I figured that I’d make a quick post with a few of them, since I just made a new one for my buddy Dave White.
The animation for WHEN ONE MAN DIES is brand new and the DEVON DELANEY animation is a little older, but I really still like them both.
Now, the real reason that I’m posting these two right now is to let everyone know that I’m opening this thing up a bit. I’ve always just done these little animations for friends, etc, but now I’m opening it up to the public. If there’s an author out there in blogger land, or anywhere that needs one of these bad boys, shoot me an email and we can discuss your needs. PS – I work pretty cheap.
If you’re wondering, I usually make the animations in a bunch of different sizes (one for your LJ userpic, one for your AIM icon, etc) but I can make it whatever size you like, as long as you have high-res images for me to work with.
