…posting another one of these images:

dinner with family

Had dinner with the family last night and got a few new shots of madison. Here’s a quick sampling, but there are a bunch more that I need to finish editing. Also, don’t forget. I just recently launched my brand new site design: www.scottneumyerphotography.com Please feel free to head on over and check it out. [...]

It’s Alive!!

After months of hard work, planning, etc www.scottneumyerphotography.com is finally totally redesigned and alive!! I just wanted to say a HUGE, ENORMOUS thank you to Justin Gaynor for whipping this site into shape. He’s the man. Seriously. He’s a great friend and great photographer. Check him out. Anyway, before I ramble some more… please please [...]

it was bound to happen…
it was bound to happen...

Yes, I’m on Facebook. Feel free to link away: Here’s my profile.

snow? no. not snow?
snow? no. not snow?

Yes. Snow. Blech. Just when I thought Spring was finally here, we get a bunch of snow and ice and sleet and other yucky stuff to cover the roads and cars. I’m ready for Spring in Central NJ. How bout you?

When? When already?

…Soon. I promise! Soon…

i’m such a tease…

Just an itty, bitty taste of what’s coming… And probably a little sooner than you might have expected… Sure, there’s a lot more, but I don’t want to ruin the surprise. Big thanks to Justin Gaynor who is working hard behind the scenes to get this thing up. Thanks again, Justin.

it’s not goodbye…it’s see ya later…

Tomorrow is my friend Michelle’s last day at our job (yeah, that’s right…our day job). It’s kind of crazy how she ended up where I work. Michelle and I actually went to high school together and by some stretch of the cosmos she ended up getting a job not only in the same company as [...]

order printsJust another shot that I finally got a chance to process. As always, you can order prints if you like.

Canon EOS-1D Mark III Announced

Coming this spring from Canon is the new Canon EOS-1D Mark III. Hmm…wonder what kind of $$ I’ll need to snag that one. Canon hasn’t released pricing yet, but I assume it’ll be close to the current line of 1Ds. Here’s a picture of the cam. If you want to see more, you can check [...]

jessica claire’s new blog

While I had absolutely nothing to do with it, I just wanted to tell everyone that the great Jessica Claire has a brand, spanking new blog. The layout is absolutely gorgeous, which matches her photos perfectly, and I’m sure the content will be just as excellent as it always has been. Jessica is one of [...]

shed

www.scottneumyerphotography.com | order prints I can’t even begin to tell you how much fun I’ve been having with my new Tokina 12-24mm f/4 lens. Ever since making the switch to a DSLR (from a film camera) the APS-sized sensor has made it difficult to get a nice truly wide angle. This lens is like heaven [...]

a gorgeous day to recycle?

I had to get up early to drop off cardboard and a few other things at the recycling center, so I thought I might as well try out the new Tokina 12-24mm f/4. I think I’m in love with it… www.scottneumyerphotography.com | order prints

totally rad

This is an older image (taken on Thanksgiving) that was slightly out of focus and just generally soft. I’d never posted it, but after messing around with some totallyradactions, I think I like it. I’m not much into a lot of PS manipulation, but totallyradactions.com is making it incredibly fun.

american master

I’ll freely admit that I’ve never been a huge fan of Annie Leibovitz. I admire what she’s done with her career, for women in photography, and for photography in general. I’ve just never personally been a big fan of her work. I always found it a little too glam. Maybe a little to produced and [...]

a new home

As you can clearly see, the blog has moved to its new home. I thought it was finally time to get everything under its own hosted domain, so here it is…finally in the place where it should be. Now that the new year is here, I plan to update this thing much more regularly (e.g. [...]

it’s been a while

I haven’t posted in a very long time. Life got busy. I got married. Tons of other things were going on. Here, nevertheless, are some of the things I’ve been shooting recently. Regular blogging should resume very soon. Thanks for sticking around, everyone.

some of the latest

Just got finished scanning and editing some more negatives. Some color. Some B&W. Some portraits. Some landscapes. Blah blah blah… On with the show… Great Grandma decided to rock my sister’s shades. Those damn nightgowns make yet another appearance. Tracks. That’s about it. Just tracks. Little cousin Shawn. Not sure I dig the composition here, [...]

prints in frames

Damn! Prints look so friggen good when they’re matted and framed. I mean, this is really nothing new, but it just feels so friggen great to hold them in your hand, hang them on the wall, or give them out to friends. I love it. LOVE it.

making prints

I spent about 80 bucks on frames at A.C. Moore today so I plan on making a ton of new prints. Anybody want one? Check out all the pics at my flickr account, and email me if you want something. I’m feeling generous today…

a few more from labor day

I’m still working on scanning some of my new stuff, so I figured I’d post a few more shots from Labor Day weekend (and one older b&w). Enjoy. I can’t imagine seeing this photo in anything but color. Just seems so serene and quiet. I wish the light had been angling the opposite way, but [...]

labor day = not much laboring

Spent most of my labor day lounging around and catching up on episodes of Prison Break, but I did manage to make some photos while at a family picnic. There are a couple interesting ones, and I haven’t had the chance to scan everything in yet, but here are a few. All of them are [...]
